Kenneth Ward

June 21, 1936 - August 16, 2021

Kenneth Ward, passed away on August 16, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL. He was 85. Kenneth was born on June 21, 1936 in Manhattan, NY to Francis Joseph and Evelyn Cantillon Ward. He was a proud veteran who served our country in the Army at Fort Mammoth , Fort Gordon and Fort Huachuca. Kenneth taught history at La Salle Military Academy in Sayville, NY, at Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY and at Hauppauge-High-School in Hauppauge, NY. He met and married the love of his life, Patti in 1957. They shared their love for 60 years. He moved to Haines City in 2018 from Las Vegas, NV, he was of the Catholic faith, and a member of the Audubon Society and the Knights of Columbus for 50 years. Kenneth loved the Lord, traveling with his wife and sports. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Barbara Ward. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brother Allen Ward and wife, Barbara of Ocala, FL, his two brothers-in-law Frederick Oko and his wife Karen of Seymour and Warren Oko and his wife Barbara of St. Petersburg, FL., and three nieces. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Seymour, CT.
