Anne Agnes Schaefer, age 87, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Harold E. Schaefer, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2021. She was born in Waterbury on June 17, 1933, the loving daughter of the late Eugene Michaud and Agnes Cyr Michaud. She grew up in Waterbury and moved to Seymour after marrying the love of her life Schaef aka Smokey. Anne was a devout parishioner of St. Augustine Church in Seymour. Before her retirement, she worked at Seymour Specialty Wire for many years. Anne loved her bingo and was an avid card player. She also enjoyed bowling in her earlier years. Most of all, Anne loved her Sunday dinners with her family and to be with her friends. She will be sadly missed by all, but will remain forever in our hearts. Anne’s loving family includes her son William (Bill) Schaefer and his wife Collette of Overland Park, Kansas, her daughter Gail Llewellyn and her husband Kenneth of Seymour, her brother Ernest Michaud of Southington , four grandchildren, Douglas and Nicole Schaefer and Nicholas and Brendan Llewellyn, also by several nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her cherished daughter Linda Schaefer McMahan, her sister Lorraine Michaud and her three brothers Charles, Albert and Norman Michaud. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held (Directly) on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Avenue, Seymour. Face masks are required and everyone must adhere to social distancing requirements at all times. Burial will take place in the Spring once the cemetery opens at the family plot in St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour.
